Both red arrows identify the air flow from the clothes dryer
The top red arrow identifies the hot dry air that is returned into the home. With that hot air adds a fresh laundry scent that comes from detergent used, and products such as dryer sheets
The bottom arrow shows how the moist air goes through the Vent Genius and exits to the outside
You will notices lint in the video. The lint that gets past the dryer screen will generally stay with the moist air and exit to the outside. However, it is possible for small traces of lint to be present with the air that is returned into the home. To minimize the lint that exits your dryer clean your dryer screen after each use.
